Ive recently started a marketing and design internship at Bradford Playhouse, Im really enjoying it. The playhouse seems like its in the midst of an exciting and innovative change. my job along with Adam and other volunteers is to market the playhouse as a venue hire and basically to develop the playhouse as a hive of creative activity. It seems to be doing really well so far and can only get better in my opinion! From clubnight to opera to printmaking exhibition, there is an area in the playhouse suited for that event. Check out the website! www.bradfordplayhouse.co.uk.
I really would like to hold an exibition there in the future, with the possibility of music and lots more.

Pavilion Commissions 2009
These past few days I have been filling in for Gill at Pavilion, Leeds. Im looking after the gallery duties and plugging the new exhibition commissioned by Pavilion. The work was commissioned over 6 months, and the realised pieces are on display at the Djanogly Gallery in Nottingham from the 16th January to the 28th February. I thought I could plug the exhibition on my blog too!! I think the pieces are really interesting. The works have been produced by 4 acclaimed photographers.......they are: Frederico Camara, Steffi Klenz, Stephen Vaughan and Tomoko Yoneda. Check out http://www.pavilion.org.uk/ for more information.

Bradford Playhouse
I have recently been given a new Internship opportunity as Marketing and Design intern at Bradford Playhouse! I am so excited about starting....I love this playhouse as it allows everyone, whether your an artist or not to participate, curate and get involved in all sorts of creative programmes. I cant wait to be a part of and help promote some of these events! It seems a really great time to join the team, a time of change and I think things are really going to explode here in the upcoming months.....Come down to the playhouse on Chapel Street in Little Germany to see a performance or have a drink in the bar. I cant wait!

Exhibition Private View
I was really pleased with the way A Feast for the Eyes turned out. My piece was positioned behind the display table decorated with selling pieces and other items usually found in a Dutch 17th Century Still Life. I was so happy to see my piece taking centre stage as it was visible as soon as your entered the gallery, I also loved the way it seemed to be part of the still life set up on the table. There were some beautiful pieces especially the pewter dishes and the textile birds. Go on and gorge yourself.....

A Feast for the Eyes........27th Nov - 18th Dec
Tonight is the Private View for an exhibition called 'A Feast for the Eyes' at Gallery II in Bradford University. It starts at 4' O clock! I have a piece from my degree show exhibited called 'Bud" 2007. It is a selling exhibition with inspiration from the Dutch Still life paintings of the 17th Century. I think it will be a very luxurious and opulent themed show with stunning photography, embroidery, prints, jewelry and glass.

Feral...
At the moment I am experimenting with star wars figurines....I want to submit some images for the Leeds based Zine 'Feral'. The theme is Sci-Fi. I was thinking of places them around the house in mundane areas where they are secretly battling unnoticed by the people living there...hmmm I will post my results soon....
